Profile of Deep Boarding High School

Introduction

Deep Boarding High School was established in 1980, when private institutions had just started to root in the education of Nepal. Mr. Narendra pal has got the credit of its establishment, so he is the father of this institution. Now its twelve caretakers are shouldering it to enhance the real quality education as the age demands. When Deep Boarding High School was established, it led path to open private Schools in Butwal.

Deep Boarding High School has already celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 2005 catering earnest passion of education without uprooting from its erudition process. The team has amplified it far and wide. Deep Boarding High School believes on practical quality education so that it has got aim to increase all round development of its students. It gives strong emphasis on extra curricular activities apart from education. It abolishes and decreases parrot leaning system. It aims to creative education for productive mind. Its heed and devotion is to enhance knowledge of life through practical education.

Deep Boarding is responding to the growing challenging of mass education, modularization, broadening of access and life-long learning opportunities with strong academic and managerial leadership with a flexible openness, providing positive learning experiences for students. The school has made all efforts to provide the students, great deal of opportunities to broaden not only their subject knowledge but also their comprehensive knowledge with the current development. Sports and outdoor activities as well as tour enhance them extra knowledge. Deep Boarding school is deeply concerned to the discipline and social manner of the students. The ultimate aim of the school is to produce dynamic citizens for the nation to meet to 'New Nepal'. The school enforces students to build social and individual career in extend.

Deep Boarding High School has got young and energetic team either in management or in teaching. It has got well and qualified team of teachers and most of them are bachelors and master's degree holders with full of experience. The school has managed faculties to guide and recommend with a head, Dean, Every required facilities to maintain good academic performance have been provided physically. Every teacher has been provided not more than Thirty two periods in a week so that their energy flows to different sector. It has approximately maintained every possible thing for good academy as school building, class rooms, library, computer lab, since lab, first-aid lab and etc. Remaining necessary things are to be cumulated as soon as possible.

Deep Boarding High School has erected with much sorrow and grief ,it has come through many hindrances but it never trembled and went like an elephant gallantly. Whatever situation, condition and credit this school has achieved are due to management committee, administrative figures, teachers parents and students. Unless their effort the school would not have developed. Prasanna Umar, Ashik Kumar Bajracharya and Ravi Gautam are highly honored due to their better performance as they stood Nepal SLC Board Fourth, Twelfth, and Nineteenth Securing 90.5,89.13 and 88.13 percent marks respectively. Mr. Rajendra Dhoju, the chairman of the school was honored with the best Managing Chairperson Award. Like wise Mr. J.N. Ghimire was honored with National Education Award as well as the best Principal and the best English teacher, Mr. Kaladhar Aryal the best Nepali Teacher (twice) Mr. K.B. Khamcha the best Maths Teacher and Mr. Shrawan Kumar Gautam, the best Science Teacher in 2061 B.S. In this moment, the school likes to remember and commemorate with due honor to Mr. Narendra pal, Mrs. Premika Pal, Mr .Chandra Bahadur Chand and Mr. J.N. Ghimire who bore and shouldered as Principals of the School in crucial moment too. Their effort is highly appreciated.

SCHOOL LOCATION

Deep Boarding High School, a four storied building is situated at Sukkhanagar, Butwal-10. The building is in Five minute's walk to the east from the heart of the city, Milachowk. It is very much close to, the west of, Butwal Hill Park. This scholars' home has a hostel with homely environment. The hostel has been divided into two sectors for boys and girls. It has the capacity of about 150 students. At present, the school's student strength is 1350 including 90 students as boarders and 30 students as semi boarders. As teaching and non teaching staff, the school has appointed 75 enthusiastic, devoted, loyal, dexterous, elegant and qualified personnel. The School has a good canteen for teachers and Students. It has computerized account system. In addition students are provided pure drinking water filtered by Euro Guard System.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Deep Boarding High School possesses qualified and experienced teachers. This school is committed to provide quality education to the students with proper guidance of the well trained teachers in an educational environment. Each subject has a subject dean for recommendation and suggestions. Classes are provided to the students in student - centered method. In addition, audio and visual classes are also provided so as to make teaching learning activities more effective with practical education.
