OUR CURRICULUM

At Deep Boarding High School, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and rigorous educational experience that aligns with the National Curriculum. This curriculum is thoughtfully designed to promote holistic development in our students, fostering not only academic skills but also critical thinking abilities and practical skills that are essential for navigating the complexities of life. We embrace a child-centered and activity-based approach to learning, which ensures that each student has meaningful and engaging learning experiences tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. Our curriculum is structured across several key levels, each designed to cater to the developmental stages of our students.

Key Features

  • Activity-based and student-centered learning
  • Integration of ICT in teaching-learning
  • Project work and practical exposure
  • Life skills and value-based education
  • Continuous academic support and mentoring

Secondary Level (Grades 9–10 / +2)

At the secondary level, we place a strong emphasis on academic excellence, focusing on preparing students for their future careers as well as national examinations such as School Education Examination (SEE). Our curriculum is rigorous and comprehensive, ensuring that students not only master the required academic content but also develop skills that will serve them in further education and the workforce. We provide guidance on career readiness, helping students to identify their interests and possible career paths, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in their chosen fields.

In +2 have science and management programmes running in two shifts: Morning and Day. We follow National Examination Board curriculum and assessment system for this level.

Through this structured and thoughtfully designed curriculum, Deep Boarding High School aims to foster a love of learning and ensure that every student develops into a well-rounded individual ready to meet the challenges of the future.

Lower Secondary Level (Grades 6–8)

In lower secondary education, we guide students towards a deeper conceptual understanding of various subjects. Emphasizing collaboration and problem-solving skills, our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the challenges they will face as they transition into adolescence and higher levels of education. Through group projects, discussions, and interactive learning sessions, we cultivate critical thinking and teamwork, essential skills in today’s world.

Primary Level (Grades 1–5)

As students progress to the primary level, our learning methodology remains activity-based, focusing on key areas of literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social development. We have integrated curriculum with a single teacher approach in grades 1 & 2. We believe children at this age should be handled with care. Teacher should recognize each and every child’s strength and special needs. Hence, a single teacher approach has been effective in these grades. We aim to engage our students through dynamic and diverse activities that capture their interests and cater to different learning styles. This approach not only reinforces academic skills but also encourages creativity and collaboration among peers, fostering a love for learning.

Pre-Primary Level (Early Childhood Development)

In the early years of education, we adopt an interactive and Montessori-based approach that emphasizes the importance of foundational skills. Our pre-primary curriculum is designed to create a joyful and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. By engaging in hands-on activities, children develop essential skills such as language, motor development, and socialization, laying the groundwork for their future educational journey.
